The Lettuce Won!

This is me, outing myself as a Brit (sorry).

This is also me, outing myself as being a Lib Dem voter (not to be confused with the Australian Liberal party, or American Liberals).

Anyway, In Lizz We Truss has resigned, Boris has withdrawn from the new leadership race and the Lettuce has won!

Happy days for everyone that isn't a Tory scumbag or completely (wilfully, even?) oblivious to what the Tories are doing to the country!

I vote for Chief Mouser Larry the Cat for next PM.

Lettuce for Chancellor?

Finally, leadership we can trust.

My constituency is very much a swing seat, so if Labour and the other opposition parties succeed in forcing a General Election early (pleasepleaseplease), or probably even if we have to wait the full two years remaining, I shall probably not be able to vote Lib Dem as that'd be the same as handing the Tories a free seat. But at this point, anything is better than what we've got, so whoever it takes to get our local Tory benchwarmer out of their seat, is who I'll be voting for.
