To Islands Unknown!

Sundered Isles (SI) is just an expansion to the Starforged (SF) rules, but I found it did need some additional reference cards, some amended cards, slightly different character/tracker cards. My SF kit would need some new bits and pieces beyond just a copy of the new rules and oracles if I was to enjoy a game of piratical adventure.

Such a shame that, to have to... make more stuff!

MOAR STUFF. Specifically, new reference and character cards (the new ones also now have icons to show if they're SI, SF-based or work for both games 😎), then a new card holder for them, complete with new emblem for the front of course. The new asset cards for SI needed printing and then copies of the relevant SF cards added in too. My original batch of stickers already included SI themed stickers so I didn't need more of those just yet. All in all a few days of crafting sessions to get everything set up nicely, it kept me well entertained!

Then, before I could really sit down and wade into the game freely, I needed a print-out copy of the new rules and oracles to tide me over until my hardcopy version gets delivered in November/December. Those I went via Doxzoo to get, they're smaller than the official copies will be but still very easy to read, and so very portable. I must say, Doxzoo really do produce quality work. I've yet to have a bad print from them!

The overall set still fits in my TTRPG case, of course not if I'm also fitting in the SF decks and stuff. One game at a time, but that's fine by me!

Now, to roll up a ship's captain and get to sailing!
